Wildlands Technical Solutions LLC (WTS LLC) provides project-monitoring data source collection and investigative services using skilled investigators, remote cameras and sensors, drones/UAVs (FAA Remote Pilot #4510610), and other advanced technologies. These tools track, over time, project indicators, trends and data points for analysis by management and other subject-matter experts (effectiveness and surveillance monitoring classifications).

Field data collection includes project monitoring indicators, wildfire risk assessments, project-milestone verification, wildlife population counts and trends, vegetation density and health changes, detection of both permitted and unpermitted human activities, and overall site environmental conditions.

WTS LLC is licensed in the State of California to operate as both a Private Investigator (License #189260) and an Alarm Company (License #8178). Where applicable and permitted by law, attorney work-product confidentiality may apply.

Walt Young (Lead Investigator and Qualified Manager) retired from public service as the Deputy Executive Officer for Risk Management for a California Joint Powers Authority. Mr. Young brings over forty years of park and open space management, search & rescue and wildland fire experience, including over twenty-nine years as a sworn Law Enforcement Park Ranger/Investigator (twenty years as Chief Ranger). Mr. Young attended the Los Angeles Police Department (POST certified) detective training program, graduating at the top of his class.
